Power Kush is an endogamic strain i.e. one that is derived from a single parent – an Afghani x Skunk hybrid – following self-pollination, growing out the S1 seeds and selecting for the desirable traits before crossing to produce these commercially available Power Kush seeds.
Power Kush is a fast flowering strain with very good yields. It performs superbly indoors as well as outdoors in temperate/Mediterranean climates. Outdoor growers at higher latitudes should invest in a greenhouse to offer greater protection from the weather’s possible ravages. Indoor growers will maximise yields using SoG or SCROG and as much as 550 gr/m 2 can be harvested in just 50 days of florescence. Outdoors it can grow to quite a size reaching a height of up to 3 meters and producing as much as 1100 gr/plant in early October.
The aroma and flavour is quite marked as would be expected from such a cross; Kush, Skunk, citrus, sandalwood and spices are all present for the discerning palate. THC production is quite high at up to 16% and the effect is both powerful and long-lasting with both physical and cerebral qualities that together produce a very nice, relaxing stone.
