Not a good producer, the 5 plants plants didnt look anything like what they have published on their web page, are close to 100% sativa from the finish dates & the way the plant grew even thou Delicious Seeds say they are majority Indica, small compact buds on the plant, no real main colas, way too many popcorn buds. The smoke is good thou, nothing strong, pretty mellow.

This has been one of my favorites plants to grow. Really easy. Takes any mistreatment you throw at it. Great open structure for an indica. Great peppery grapefruit smell. Strong-ish smell whilst growing, but nothing a decent carbon filter can’t handle. Definitely needs support towards the end of flowering. Damn good yeilder of good size, dense, trichome covered buds. Fast finisher: pulled mine at 55 days at about 10% amber. Mine is drying and curing now, but assuming the smoke is respectable, I think this strain has potential for both the connoisseur and the commercial grower. Highly recommended.

How is Critical Sensi Star growing outdoors?
grew in 60 gallon smart pot, with roots organics 707 soil. made compost teas for the first 2 months regularly, and used roots organics line nutrients. Topped twice and let it go. Moderate feeder, early bloomer. Shot straight up to 11 feet final height. Many strong side branches supported by Panduit’s and bamboo stakes. I grew three of them, they all appeared to have identical phenotype. Some of the best yields I have ever had, 3 + pounds of usable flowers and tons of sugar for making kief. Beyond my expectations. I had a small amount of bud rot due to a couple foggy days, but it only appeared in the last couple days before harvest. Very dense buds and had coke bottle bud structure. The one negative was the smell was never very strong, but we will see in a few months what a longer cure can produce. Has a very enjoyable high that was reminiscent of great strains of the 80’s. I am growing it again next year.

Critical Sensi Star Early Version (DS43) is the result of crossing a resin-filled specimen of our own Sensi Star with a very famous clone called Critical Mass. It’s a cross between two spectacularly resinous strains but with very different nuances. Like most Indicas, Critical Sensi Star is a compact plant although care is needed in SOG systems so that the plants don’t get too tall as small or medium-sized column-shaped plants are best. Very abundant flowering with very swollen resin-filled calyxes.
Produces few leaves, which combined with the fact that this is one of the most rapid strains on the market, makes cultivation very simple and for bumper yields. Very fruity smell with acidic notes; like strawberry or wine gums. The smell becomes much more intense and penetrating as the leaves are broken apart. The sweet, fruity taste has very strong Skunky notes. The effect is very strong and quick and mostly cerebral. Although it produces a light physical sedation, it’s not enough to leave the consumer postrate on the sofa. Good for undertaking activities that don’t require extreme concentration.
