Cherry Bomb Chilli Seed Information
Cherry Bomb chillies are bright red and ‘cherry’ shaped with thick fleshy walls that measure about 6cm long by 3cm wide. They rate 2,500 – 5,000 on the Scoville Scale so they have a bit of bite (rather like a jalapeno’s heat). Cherry Bomb chilli plants are sturdy and fairly compact reaching about 60cm, they are very productive and are quick to fruit.
The chilli pods have thick fleshy walls this make them great for chunky salsas as well as for pickling or roasting in the oven stuffed with cheese & herbs. They also dry incredibly well and look really attractive, we have used them as Christmas decorations they look so good with their origami like papery skins.
When to Sow your Cherry Bomb Chilli Seeds
PLEASE NOTE – we do not recommend growing chillies on a windowsill, especially the hotter varieties. Chillies need a constant and consistent temperature to germinate and windowsills above radiators do not provide the ideal conditions. Read our Chilli Pepper Growing Guide for advice [HERE]
